The Talicia Savings Card Program
Savings options for eligible commercially insured patients or patients without insurance coverage who are paying cash. Not available for patients enrolled in Medicare, Medicaid, or other federal or state healthcare programs.
Eligible, commercially insured patients may pay as little as $35 per prescription fill of Talicia. Offer not valid for patients enrolled in Medicare, Medicaid, or other federal or state healthcare programs.
The Talicia Warranty Program
Designed for eligible patients who complete a full course of therapy, in whom the infection has not been eradicated. When specified criteria and program requirements are met, these patients can be fully refunded their out-of-pocket expense for their purchase via mail-in-rebate. See forms below.
Applying for the rebate requires 2 forms, one completed by the patient and one by their healthcare professional. Review full terms, conditions, and instructions here.
Talicia Warranty Program forms
To request a refund, eligible patients should follow the steps below:
1. Download and complete the Patient Declarations and Authorization Form.
2. Download and have your doctor complete the Healthcare Provider Attestation Form.
3. Submit both completed and signed forms, along with the following to Talicia.warranty@apollocare.com.
- Proof of purchase (original pharmacy receipt with name and address, pharmacy name, product name, prescription number, NDC number, date filled, quantity, and price)
- Patient date of birth
- Address where check is to be mailed
- Image of front and back of insurance card (if insurance was used to purchase Talicia)
- Image of front and back of Talicia Savings Card (if Talicia Savings Card was used to purchase Talicia)
Incomplete submissions and/or submissions that fail to meet all program requirements will not be granted.

Frequently asked questions about Talicia
What is Talicia and who is it for?
Talicia is a unique combination of omeprazole magnesium (10.3 mg), amoxicillin (250 mg), and rifabutin (12.5 mg) in an all-in-one capsule.1
Talicia is for the treatment of Helicobater pylori infection in adults.1
What is rifabutin?
Rifabutin is an antimycobacterial that belongs to the rifamycin family of medications. It works by killing the bacteria that cause infection by blocking RNA production in bacteria. Rifabutin was first approved by the FDA in 1992 for the treatment of tuberculosis and is used for the prevention of disseminated mycobacterium avium complex (MAC) infection in people with advanced HIV infection.2,3
What is unique about Talicia?
Talicia is the only treatment that combines 2 antibiotics and a proton-pump inhibitor into an all-in-one capsule. In the Talicia pivotal trial, zero-to-minimal H. pylori resistance was seen to the antibiotics in Talicia.1,4
What are the known side effects of Talicia?
Talicia is well tolerated. Only 1% of patients discontinued therapy due to side effects. The most common side effects experienced by 1% or more of patients taking Talicia were diarrhea, headache, nausea, stomach pain, rash, indigestion, mouth or throat pain, vomiting, vaginal yeast infection, and a brown-orange discoloration of the urine, sweat, or skin, which goes away after therapy is completed or discontinued.1 Please see complete Prescribing Information for more details.
How long is a course of therapy?
Advise patients to take 4 Talicia capsules 3 times daily, at least 4 hours apart (eg, morning, midday, and evening) with food for 14 days.1

What savings programs are available for Talicia?
Eligible, commercially insured patients may pay as little as $35 per prescription fill of Talicia, if:
- They have commercial insurance, and
- Talicia is covered by their plan
Eligible patients prescribed Talicia may pay no more than $299, if:
- Patient has commercial insurance and Talicia is not covered by their plan, or
- Patient has commercial insurance but is underinsured, or
- Patient is not insured and is paying cash
These offers are not valid for patients enrolled in Medicare, Medicaid, or other federal or state healthcare programs.
